إشكالية المركزية الإثنية في حقل العلاقات الدولية: تحليل نظري The Problematic Of Ethnocentrism In International Relations Field : A Theoretical Analysis

الملخص

يهدف هذا المقال إلى دراسة المركزية الإثنية، وفحص تأثيرها على التنظير في حقل العلاقات الدولية، وذلك من خلال تناول مختلف المضامين التي يحملها في طياته، مرورا بالكشف عن تمظهراته و تحليل أسباب تشكله، ووصولا إلى محاولة إعطاء حلول للآثار السلبية لهذه الظاهرة. ولتحقيق هذا المسعى، يستخدم المقال منهجية نقدية تركز على تحليل لمقولات منظرين ناقدين للمركزية الإثنية. ليصل في جزئه الأخير إلى بعض المقترحات والحلول أهمها أن تحاول نظريات العلاقات الدولية الانعتاق من المركزية الإثنية من خلال استخدام المنظرين للتأملية كمنهجية نقدية والتركيز على النسبية الثقافية. إضافة إلى محاولة العمل المشترك بين منظرين من خلفيات إثنية ونظرية مختلفة. كل هذا من شأنه أن يجعل التخصص الأكاديمي للعلاقات الدولية تخصصا يتصف بالتعددية و التنوع. This article seeks to investigate the concept of ethnocentrism and assess its influence on theoretical frameworks within the field of international relations. It accomplishes this by delving into the various ideas encapsulated within ethnocentrism, uncovering its manifestations, scrutinizing the reasons behind its formation, and ultimately proposing solutions to mitigate its adverse effects. To fulfill this objective, the article adopts a critical approach, concentrating on the analysis of statements made by theorists who criticized ethnocentrism. In its concluding part, the article presents several suggestions and resolutions, with a primary emphasis on urging international relations theories to distance themselves from ethnocentrism. This can be achieved through the use of reflexivity as a critical methodology and a focus on cultural relativity. Furthermore, there is an endeavor to encourage collaboration between theorists with diverse ethnic backgrounds and distinct theoretical perspectives. The overarching aim is to render the academic field of international relations characterized by its diversity.
