Abstract

It is a truism to state that there is a very tightfull and strong relationship between listening and speaking to the point that there were many scholars who agreed upon the idea that good listeners are always known to be as good speakers. Thus, from this perspective, it is worth to be mentioned that watching English movies have a great impact on EFL learners' speaking skill for the reason that spending so much time in front of TV gives them an opportunity to overcome their problem of speaking the language. In one way or another, it is very prominent to state that the advance that English as a foreign language has witnessed thanks to technology use, such as; the development of digital videos, English films , and the popularization of video-streaming websites, have made movies more easily accessible for purposes of language learning. Therefore, along with this availability, movies presented in English Language might benefit in the learning experience by providing authentic input, raising cultural awareness, motivating students, and creating opportunities for language production. In fact, this research paper came to discuss the value of watching movies in overcoming the difficulties of speaking the language.
