الملخص
Abstract: This study seeks to analyze the agricultural policies adopted by Algeria since the year 2000, and to analyze the results achieved. The study concluded that Algeria has known remarkable progress in the production of various agricultural branches, but the cereals production was limited, as it is subject to geographical factors, so production rises with the increase in the amount of rain and decreases with a decrease in it, and this is an indicator of weakness in the agricultural sector, and the rate of cereals import has increased remarkably with an increase The population, and thus the food gap widens with the increase in the population and the decrease in grain production.
