الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن واقع قطاع الزراعة ومدى مساهمته في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي للدول العربية و ذلك من خلال فهم مشكلة الأمن الغذائي و تحليل المؤشرات الاقتصادية لبعض الدول العربية ، على اعتبار أنها تسعى لتحقيق أمنها الغذائي حتى تتمكن من التقليص من حدة التبعية الاقتصادية للدول الأجنبية التي باتت تهدد امن الدول خاصة في التحولات التي يشهدها العالم حاضرا ، وتشير النتائج إلى أن درجة تحقيق الأمن الغذائي للدول العربية تعتبر جد متواضعة ، مما يتطلب تضافر الجهود في سبيل النهوض باقتصاديات الوطن العربي والتقليل من حدة التبعية الخارجية التي صارت تهدد الأمن ككل . This study aims to uncover the reality of the agricultural sector and its contribution to achieving food security in Arab countries. This is done by understanding the issue of food security and analyzing the economic indicators of some Arab countries. These countries strive to achieve food security to reduce their economic dependence on foreign nations, which poses a threat to their security, especially in the face of the global transformations. The results indicate that the level of achieving food security in Arab countries is quite modest, necessitating concerted efforts to uplift the Arab national economies and reduce the severity of external dependence that now threatens overall security
