الملخص باللغة العربية: عالجت في موضوع المهن الطبية في افريقيا الشمالية و دور الأطباء في خدمة الفرد و المجتمع من خلال نصوص النقيشات اللاتينية طبيعة العلاقة بين المهن الطبية وباقي المهن الأخرى ومختلف الطبقات الاجتماعية التي كان ينتمي إليها الأطباء من خلال الاجابة عن الاشكالية المتعلقة بأهمية و مكانة تلك المهن الطبية و الدور الذي أداه الأطباء في جميع المجالات خدمة لمجتمعاتهم متبعة في ذلك المنهج الاحصائي والتحليلي لمختلف نصوص النقيشات اللاتينية التي مكنتني من التعرف على عدد لا بأس به من أسماء أعلام لأطباء و قابلات و كل ما يتعلق بحياتهم الشخصية ومكانتهم الاجتماعية ضمن مجتمعاتهم القروية و المدنية خلال الفترة الرومانية. Abstract : I dealt with the subject of the medical professions in North Africa and the role of doctors in serving the individual and society through the texts of the Latin inscriptions. the nature of the relationship between the medical professions and the rest of the other professions and the various social classes to which the doctors belonged by answering the problem related to the importance and status of these medical professions and The role played by doctors in all fields in the service of their communities. following the statistical and analytical approach of the various texts of the Latin inscriptions, which enabled me to identify a good number of proper names of doctors and midwives and everything related to their personal lives and their social status within their rural and civil societies during the Roman period.
