أبوكاليبتو تصوير للصراع الوجودي أم رؤية إيديولوجية في السينما الأمريكية؟ Apocalypto: A Portrayal Of The Existential Conflict Or An Ideological Vision In American Cinema?

الملخص
The article deals with the “Apocalypto” ; a movie directed by Mel Gibson. A framework of analysis and criticism is highlighted with special focus on the American cinema portrayal of the last stages of the Mayan civilization, taking into consideration ideological view drawn by the white man about the indigenous people of the American continent deemed as savage persons who only believe in violence and brutality. The film also tries to expose the cause of the disappearance of the Mayan civilization as a fact due to the civil wars that were raging in the new continent between the native inhabitants or the Amerindian. The movie tries to give a fictional account that places the drama ahead of the historical verisimilitude. The filmmakers tend to convey implicitly that white man brought civilization to the new continent and he was not the cause of the tragedy of the natives. We also discuss some of the real historical backgrounds that led to the control of Europeans on the American continent, in a view that makes the movie under the glance of criticism looking for the difference between the American cinematic perception on the Native Americans and the genuine reasons that led to the the demise of the Mayan civilization. يتناول المقال فيلم أبوكاليبتو للمخرج ميل غيبسون بالتحليل والنقد، حيث نتطرق فيه إلى تصور السينما الأمريكية لأخر مراحل حضارة المايا، إذ يقدم الفيلم النظرة الإيديولوجية التي رسمها الرجل الأبيض حول السكان الأصليين للقارة الأمريكية باعتبارهم أناس همجيون لا يؤمنون إلا بالعنف، كما يحاول الفيلم أن يرجع سبب اندثار حضارة المايا إلى الحروب الأهلية التي كانت منتشرة في القارة الجديدة بين سكانها الأصليين والذين أُطْلِقَ عليهم اسم الهنود الحمر. ويحاول صناع الفيلم أن يقولوا بطريقة غير مباشرة أن الرجل الأبيض قد جاء بالحضارة إلى القارة الجديدة ولم يكن متسببا في مأساة الهندي الأحمر. كما نتطرق في المقال إلى بعض الخلفيات التاريخية الحقيقية التي أدت إلى سيطرة الأوروبيين على القارة الأمريكية، في قراءة تضع فيلم أبوكاليبتو Apocalypto تحت مجهر النقد وذلك بمحاولة إيجاد الفرق بين التصور السينمائي الأمريكي للهنود الحمر والأسباب الموضوعية التي أدت إلى انتهاء حضارة المايا.
