Authors : Rekab Abdelhalim .

Abstract

Almost no commercial or service enterprise, large or small, governmental or private, is without information and communication technology (ICT) as basic gears driving the wheel of modern industrial societies in all their forms. As much as this technology benefits societies and institutions of all kinds, it has negative consequences for its recipients, particularly front-line employees in their various locations. The purpose of this article is to investigate occupational pressure and its effects on employees who use information and communication technology. This has resulted in a sharp increase in occupational pressures in the professional environment, which negatively affects the health, performance, and social status of workers and threatens the institution's continuity.
