ايتيقا اللقاء بالآخر: ليفيناس نموذجا

الملخص
السمة الغالبة على كثير من المجتمعات شيوع ضروب من العنف فيها على نحو يهدد "العيش سويا". وقد بلغت أشكال العنف هذه ذروتها خلال حربين كونيتين كانتا تجسيدا لإرادة الهيمنة والإخضاع لكثير من الشعوب. إنه عنف لا يقدر العقل، وهو القيد، أن يعقله أو أن يمنع حدوثه. بل قد يكون العقل ذاته، بمقولاته، العلة فيه. والحاصل من ذلك أن ليفيناس يؤسس لعلاقة بالآخر لا تقوم على المعرفة بقدر ما تقوم على الاستجابة لنداء الآخر. وهو ما يعني أن الايتيقا قادرة على بلوغ مقصد آخر للمعقولية وطريقة أخرى في محبة الحكمة. The dominant feature of many societies is the prevalence of violence in them that threatens "living together". These forms of violence reached their climax during two world wars that embody the will of domination and subjugation of many peoples. It is violence that reason, which is the limitation, cannot comprehend or prevent. Rather, it may be the mind itself, with its sayings, the reason for it. The result is that Levinas establishes a relationship with the other not based on knowledge as much as it is based on responding to the call of the other. Which means that ethics is able to reach another goal of reasonableness and another way of loving wisdom
