الملخص
يعتبر التراث الثقافي المعماري معيارا لتقدم الحضارات والدول، كما انه يكتسي أهمية بالغة لدراسة مخلفات الشعوب وما كانت تكتنزه من ثقافات متعددة ولان هذا التراث يتعرض إلى الكثير من عوامل التلف التي يمكن أن تطمس كل معالمه، كان لابد من وجود مجموعة من القوانين الدولية والوطنية من أجل حمايته في حالة السلم والحرب معا وهذا مبدأ هام منصوص عليه في اتفاقية لاهاي لعام 1954 فحواه أن الأضرار التي تلحق بممتلكات ثقافية معمارية يملكها أي شعب " تمس التراث الثقافي التي تملكه الإنسانية جمعاء" إلا أن هذه القوانين تعرف تذبذب في طريقة تطبيقها وكيفية التعامل معها في كل الأحوال . الكلمات المفتاحية: التراث المعماري ـ المواثيق الدولية ـ القوانين الوطنية ـ الحماية.
