التكافؤ في مصطلحات علم الفلك بين الإنسان والآلة

الملخص

الملخص الترجمة الآلية هي نوع من أنواع الترجمة التي تطورت على مر السنين. إلى أن أصبحت من أهم الوسائل المفيدة التي تسهَل التواصل وتقرَب المعرفة من لغة إلى أخرى، في أي وقت لا يتوفر فيه المترجم البشري. كما يمكننا أيضا استخدام الترجمة الآلية كوسيلة تساعد المترجم في أداء وظيفته. حيث تدور إشكالية هذا البحث حول التكافؤ في الترجمة الآلية لمصطلحات علم الفلك من الإنجليزية إلى العربية. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة نوع التكافؤ الذي تستخدمه الآلة أثناء قيامها بالترجمة. ومن ثمّ سنقارن الترجمة الآلية بالترجمة الإنسانية. ولإجراء هذه الدراسة، قسمنا عملنا إلى جزئيين. يتناول الجزء الأول الجوانب النظرية للدراسة. الذي يحتوي على أنواع مختلفة من الترجمة وكيف تختلف هاته الأنواع باختلاف طريقة التعبير ونوع النص، وكذلك نوع الترجمة حسب القائم بعملية الترجمة، أي الترجمة البشرية أو الآلية. كما نلقي الضوء على دور الترجمة الآلية وعلاقتها باللغة العربية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، ذكرنا مختلف أنواع التكافؤ. بينما الجزء الثاني يدور حول دراسة تحليلية مقارنة لبعض من نماذج كتاب الكون التي تمت ترجمتها من طرف الإنسان والترجمة الآلية. في ضوء هذه الدراسة توصلنا إلى النتائج التالية: تعتمد الترجمة الآلية فقط على التكافؤ الشكلي عند الترجمة. كما توصلنا أيضا إلى أنه كلما كان النص المصدر طويلًا ومعقدًا، كلما وجدت الآلة صعوبة في تقديم ترجمة مناسبة للنص الهدف. Abstract Machine Translation is a type of translation that has developed through the years. To become one of the most important and useful means to facilitate communication and brings up knowledge closer from one language to another, whenever the translator is not available. Alternatively, it can be used also as a method to help the translator to do their job. The problematic of this research revolves around equivalence in Machine Translation of astronomy terms from English into Arabic. The study aims, to investigate the kind of equivalence the machine uses when it translates; afterwards we shall compare it with the one of humane translation. To carry out this study, we divided our work into two parts. The first part deals with the theoretical aspects of the study. It consists of different types of translation and how they differ according to way of expression, and types of text and most importantly to the doer of the process of translation, i.e. human or machine translation. We also shed light on the role of MT and its relation with Arabic. In addition to that, we mentioned the different types of equivalence. Whereas the second part of this study is about comparative analytical study of some samples of the book Cosmos that were translated by the human and the MT. In light of this study, we reached the following results: Machine Translation relies only on formal equivalence when translating. We have concluded that the more the source text is long and complex, the more the machine finds it hard to give a proper translation to the target text.
