Résumé

La présente contribution se donne pour objectif de vérifier le degré d'assimilation du système générique français chez les locuteurs non-natifs dont la langue maternelle est le Tamazight, en l'occurrence le chaoui parlé dans le sud de la wilaya de Sétif. Le paysage sociolinguistique de cette région se caractérise par la coexistence de plusieurs langues, à savoir l'arabe, le chaoui et le français. En effet, le contact de langues existant entre la langue maternelle des chaouiphones et le français en tant que langue étrangère (FLE) engendre des interférences affectant l'acquisition du français, et ce, sur différents plans : sémantique, phonétique, lexical, grammatical,etc. Nous tenons à préciser que pour le présent article, nous nous limitons à l'étude de l'aspect grammatical du FLE, étant donné que notre recherche porte sur l'interférence du dialecte chaoui dans la définition du genre grammatical des noms appartenant à la langue française. Abstract: The current contribution aims to check the degree of assimilation of the gender system of the French language by non-native speakers whose mother tongue is Berber, namely the Chaoui dialect spoken in the south of the province of Setif. The sociolinguistic landscape of this region is characterized by the coexistence of several languages, namely Arabic, Chaoui and French. In fact, the language contact that exists between the mother tongue of the Chaoui speakers and the French language as a foreign language (FLE = French as a Foreign Language) engenders interferences affecting the acquisition of French, and this on different levels: semantic, phonetic, lexical, grammatical,etc. We would like to point out that for the present article, we limit ourselves to the study of the grammatical aspect of French as a Foreign Language as our research focuses on the interference of the Chaoui dialect in the definition of the grammatical gender of the nouns belonging to the French language
