أهمية كتب الرحلات كمصدر في تدوين التاريخ: رحلة ابن بطوطة نموذجا

الملخص
ملخص: تكمن أهمية الرحلات في كونها تمثل مظهراً من مظاهر الحضارة العربية الإسلامية، فتحت الآفاق المعرفية واستقصت العادات البشرية، واحتضنت القوافل التجارية، ودونت فنون المجالس العلمية، واقتحمت الحدود السياسية، ورسمت حدود الخرائط الجغرافية لمختلف الأقطار الإسلامية، فكتب الرحلات عقد نفيس في التاريخ، وهي مجال واسع رحب عميق، وسيظل أرضاً بكراً للأبحاث والتحقيق. وعليه فإن الرحلات تقدّم في مجال التاريخ بعض المعلومات التي لم يقدمها لنا العلم المختص في هذا المجال، فإذا كان التاريخ يعمل على وصف واستقصاء حياة البلدان وتاريخها بمختلف مظاهرها، فإن الرحلات أعطت كل ذلك بعده المناسب، وتطرقت إلى تحليل جوانب لم تتطرق إلى تحليلها الوثائق التاريخية. Abstract: The importance of trips lies in the fact that they represent a manifestation of Arab-Islamic civilization, opened knowledge horizons and investigated human habits, embraced commercial convoys, codified the arts of scientific councils, stormed political borders, and drew the boundaries of geographical maps of various Islamic countries, so books of journeys are a precious decade in history, and it is a field It is broad and deep, and will remain a virgin land for research and investigation. Accordingly, the trips in the field of history provide some information that the specialized science did not provide us with in this field, so if history works to describe and investigate the life and history of countries in its various manifestations, then the trips gave all of that after the appropriate, and touched on the analysis of aspects that did not deal with analyzing historical documents
