After viewing the overall creative works of the poet, a criticism and analysis of the poetry collection called “ shuhuud ghazza” ( Witnesses of Gaza) by Abdallah Abushmaes are introduced. In reality, the poetry collection imposed the subject of this study titled The Poetical Polyphony, towards narrativization of poetry- a critical reading of the poetry collection “shuhuud ghazza”. Reasons behind choosing this poetry collection from the poet’s collections have been discussed inside the study. Before investigating the details about the poems’ building and formulation, a brief about the poet’s experience was presented to the reader to be familiar with the current poetic experience. After that, The study analyzed the collection title followed by entering the world of its poems through uncovering the aesthetic plan that the poet used to come up with a coherent and harmonious collection. Then the study introduced the definition of the term polyphony as a narrative term and how it was evoked here poetically. Here, some supporting stanzas were chosen as a sample of a complete poetry collection that carries a particular idea and a specific target. The study ends with a conclusion about the features of this poetry collection in regard to its building and special characteristic .
