الملخص
The European-Ottoman rivalry in the so-called Eastern issue, which represented many international crises that shook the throne of the Ottoman Empire in the wake of the rivalry and competing of European powers, embodied their ambitions in successive strikes against an Ottoman entity that was characterized by weakness and regression. Starting with the French campaign in 1801that increased the greed of France and England in addition to the Greek crisis, which highlighted the weakness of the internal structure of the Ottoman Empire and dismantled its links and lost part of its sovereignty, which became apparent from the consequences of the consequences of the Crimean War 1853 of the imposition of European hegemony and the beginning of its control in Politics Which was clearly evident in the Balkan crisis of 1860-1873 and devoted to the Berlin Conference of 1878, which drew a new map of Europe at the expense of the Ottoman Empire, which remained in it only in accordance with the policy and serving the European interests.
