In this article we discuss the problem of teaching philosophy in the Algerian educational system. First we show the differents opportunities given by the education reform. The second we examine the various factors behind the weak performance of a big number of learners. Between these sentences, we ask our self the role of the philosophical lesson in Algeria’s school.
