الاستعارة والحجاج: مكانة الاستعارات التصورية ووظيفتها في العمل الحجاجي

الملخص
يعرض هذا المقال ترجمة من اللغة الإسبانية إلى اللغة العربية للدراسة التي قام بها اللساني الفيلسوف وعالم الاجتماع الشيلي د. كريستيان سانتيبانييث المعنونةMetáforas y argumentación: Lugar y función de las metáforas conceptuales en la actividad argumentativa (الاستعارة والحجاج: مكانة الاستعارات التصورية ووظيفتها في العمل الحجاجي) والتي نشرت سنة 2009، في مجلة سِيغْنُوسْ الشيلية Revista Signos. وتبدأ الترجمة بتلخيص ما جاء في الدراسة التي أجريت حول كيفية عمل الاستعارات التصورية وتحليلها من منظور الممارسة الحجاجية. ثم خاتمة، انتهى فيها الكاتب إلى أن التحليل المجازي العرفاني إذا أراد أن يكون ناجحا من وجهة نظر الحجاج، فإنه ينبغي إدراجه في نظرية تحتوي استخدام الاستعارات كوسائل خاضعة للتقييم النقدي، مع التمييز، حيثما يكون ذلك مناسبا، متى ولماذا يتحول استخدام الاستعارة التصورية إلى مغالطة. وقد عرضنا تقديم ترجمة الدراسة، والمنهجية المتبعة في ذلك، ثم عرضنا ترجمة النص الأصل من المقدمة إلى الاستنتاجات، ترجمة أمينة وفية للأصل دون حذف جزء منها أو نسيان. Abstract This article examines a translation from Spanish into Arabic of the study carried out by the Chilean linguist, philosopher and sociologist, Cristián Santibáñez (Metaphors and Argumentation: Status and Function of Conceptual Metaphors in Argumentative Mechanism), which was published on the Chilean Revista Signos Magazine in 2009. The translation starts with a summary of the study on how conceptual metaphors function and its analysis from the perspective of argumentative practice as well as the study's conclusion where the author concludes with a cognitive metaphorical analysis, which, if it seeks success from the argumentative perspective, has to be included in a theory that uses metaphors as tools subject to critical assessment. The cognitive metaphorical analysis has also to distinguish, when appropriate, between when and why the use of conceptual metaphors turns into an error. We provided the introduction of the translation in question and the methodology used therein, and then a faithful and authentic translation of the original text without ellipsis, including the introduction and the conclusions.
