The Circular Economy: Algeria Towards A New Approach

Abstract
Circular economy represents an innovative and sustainable approach to resource and waste management, offering a crucial alternative to the linear model of production and consumption. In Algeria, as elsewhere in the world, the transition to a circular economy has become a major priority, driven by the need to preserve natural resources, reduce environmental impacts, and stimulate economic innovation. Faced with increasing environmental challenges such as pollution, resource scarcity, and climate change, Algeria recognizes the crucial importance of the circular economy in ensuring sustainable and resilient development. In this introduction, we will explore the foundations of the circular economy in Algeria, its challenges, opportunities, and the initiatives implemented to facilitate its transition.
