الملخص
الملخص: شهدت الفترة الاستعمارية بالجزائر (1830- 1962م)، ظهور كتابات تاريخية لجزائريين عملوا في مختلف الإدارات الاستعمارية بما فيها المكاتب العربية، وعبد الرحمان سلكة من أولئك الجزائريين، وهو من خريجي المدارس الفرنسية، تقلد بعد تخرجه منصب عون ضباط المكاتب العربية بتوات، حيث شغل منصب كاتب في مركز توات العسكري سنة 1913م، ومهما كان من أمره؛ فقد اهتم بتاريخ توات، وجمع معلومات مهمة حولها، تمثلت تلك المعلومات في التقسيم الإداري لتوات، بنية مجتمع توات ونشاطه الاقتصادي، عاداته وتقاليده، ونشرها في كتاب مترجم إلى اللغة الفرنسية، حمل عنوان : "Notice sur le Touat (ملاحظة حول توات)" سنة 1922م. Abstract: The colonial period in Algeria (1830-1962AD) saw the emergence of historical writings by Algerians who worked in various colonial administrations, including Arab offices, and Abd el-Rahman Selka was one of these Algerians, graduating from the French schools at the military center of Touat in 1913AD, whatever his command; he became interested in the history of Touat and collected important information about it. This information was represented in the administrative division of Touat, the structure of the Touat community and its economic activity, customs and traditions, and published in a book translated into French, entitled: "Notice sur le Touat" (Notice on Touat) in the year of 1922AD.
