الملخص

The Social Fund for Development is a new program that seeks to improve the living conditions and opportunities available to the poor and marginalized in Iraq, by improving their ability to obtain basic services and creating short-term job opportunities at the local level. The general goal of the Social Fund for Development is to strengthen efforts to restore stability in Iraq, restore confidence between the citizen and the state, and develop institutional measures that seek to enhance social cohesion and pay attention to local development priorities, because of its positive social impact, which is represented by increasing the level of empowerment and social cohesion through mobilizing various Components of society to think together about identifying common priorities and needs in their communities, providing job opportunities, encouraging local and foreign investments in Iraq, and financing lagging projects by financing them from the Fund. يعد الصندوق الاجتماعي للتنمية برنامج جديد يسعى إلى تحسين الظروف المعيشية والفرص المتاحة أمام الفقراء والمهمشين في العراق، وذلك عبر تحسين قدرتهم لغرض الحصول على الخدمات الأساسية واستحداث فرص عمل قصيرة الأمد على المستوى المحلي. ويتمثل الهدف العام للصندوق الاجتماعي للتنمية في تعزيز جهود إعادة الاستقرار في العراق، واستعادة الثقة بين المواطن والدولة، ووضع تدابير مؤسسية تسعى نحو تعزيز الترابط الاجتماعي والاهتمام بأولويات التنمية المحلية ، ذلك لما له من أثر اجتماعي إيجابي الذي يتمثل بزيادة مستوى التمكين والترابط الاجتماعي عبر حشد مختلف مكونات المجتمع للتفكير معاً في تحديد الأولويات والاحتياجات المشتركة في مجتمعاتهم ، وتوفير فرص عمل وتشجيع الاستثمارات المحلية والاجنبية في العراق وتمويل المشروعات المتلكئة عن طريق تمويلها من الصندوق.
