Journal of Private Law is a free, six-party, peer-reviewed, double-blind, open-access international scientific journal, is a scholarly journal dedicated to the fields of private, commercial, and business law and related disciplines. This project was initiated by the Faculty of Law of the University of Djelfa. The primary objective of the journal is to facilitate scholarly and professional discussions on current legal developments. In addition, it aims to showcase innovative legal research focusing on the Algerian laws and legal system to ensure access to a global audience interested in the discourse of Algerian law. The journal is published exclusively in English and Arabic. It welcomes The Journal of Private Law warmly welcomes contributions from researchers and international legal professionals, as well as representatives of courts, executive authorities and relevant agencies. In doing so, it seeks to foster a diverse and inclusive exchange of ideas and insights in this field.
The content of the journal includes various new topics. The review includes a wide range of legal scholarship, covering areas such as: private law, commercial law, private international law, intellectual property, commercial law, Sharia law, customs law, banking law, consumer protection law, insurance law, Anthropology of law. Sociology of law and alternative dispute resolution. The Journal of Private and Commercial Law adopts diverse approaches to legal studies, including normative, empirical and comparative law approaches.
