Digital Justice :between The Inevitability Of Technological Development And The Need For Legal Framing

Abstract

The world is experiencing a massive information revolution. This is supposed to be reflected in the judiciary as a whole, and the extent to which the developments of the technological age contribute to achieving speedy adjudication of cases. Despite the manifestations of the impact of the technological revolution on all aspects of life, including the judicial system, it is still the subject of application by the courts. Electronic technology represents a problem, given that it has not been addressed by legislation even at the level of the systems that adopted it. The information revolution has generated many applications that have had a significant impact on various aspects of social, economic, and scientific life, among which were electronic government, electronic education, and electronic commerce, and this influence appears. In the problem of delay in responding to adjudication of disputes, hence the urgent need to solve this problem by facilitating litigation procedures and keeping pace with the developments of the digital technological age by introducing modern technology into litigation procedures, to reach the idea of establishing an electronic court, which is the most important application of technological development.
