الملخص
ABSTRACT The was called the "Istanbul Agreement" because it was signed in Istanbul; It is a convention that includes all international standards relating to discrimination against women that were accepted before it. It also covers decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and the jurisprudence of the Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. before accepting the Istanbul Convention; The CEDAW Convention adopted by the United Nations and the implementation of this convention, the decisions of the European Humanitarian Court is the only international agreement and the decisions of international courts binding on violence against women, the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and the jurisprudence of the Committee on the Elimination of All. Forms of discrimination against women.. Despite some of the positive approaches it has brought, this convention has been scrutinized by the Turkish society on the following issues. The convention caused direct opposition from the public. 1- It is the claim that the 3. and 4. clauses of the gender equality regulations, the equality of the homosexuels are guaranteed, and this situation breaks the structure of the society. 2- The claim of family separation in the home removal case filed for men based on the card's statement. They have a very flexible approach to family. However, the family is the undisputed foundation of society all over the world. 3- It has been suggested that the İstanbul Convention, with interpretations contrary to its content, protects homosexual tendencies that are in line with human nature instead of protecting them and presents them as a plan. Meanwhile, the expansion of some issues not included in the convention of the comments of experts increased the discomfort. Increasing LGBT images every day offended conservative Turks. The government of the Republic of Turkey left the Istanbul Convention due to the pressure of the society and especially non-governmental organizations.
