الملخص
ملخص: تتطرق هذه الدراسة لتعريف بـــ الأسقف (بريسكوس)الذي عاصرالأسقف أوغسطين خلال حياته الأسقفية،الاسقف بريسكوس من أهم رجال الدين الذين عاشوا في مدينة (Quiza)وكان له دوراً محلياَ وإقليمياَمتميزاً ومن الشخصيات الدينية التي تركت بصمتها في التاريخ الديني المسيحي،اضافة إلى أهميته في مدينته ومقاطعته،أُشيرللأسقف (بريسكوس)في مصدرين مُهمين (محضر قرطاج سنة 411م.ورسائل أوغسطين)،فالدراسة تعالج عناصرعدة:المدينة التي عاش فيها،علاقته بالطائفة الدوناتية،مشاركته في مجمع قرطاج،مكانتة الإدارية أثناء المجمع،العقوبات التي تعرض لها أثناء مسيرته الأسقفية،الحالة الدينية في مدينته بعد وفاته. Abstract: This study deals with the life of Bishop (Priscus), who lived in the era of Bishop Augustine during his episcopal life, so Bishop Priscus was one of the most important clergy who lived in the city of (Quiza) and had a distinct local and regional role and religious figures who left their mark in Christian religious history, in addition to its importance in his city and province, Bishop (Priscus) mentioned in two important sources (Carthage Minutes in 411 AD, and Augustine's letters), the study addresses several elements: the city in which he lived, his relationship with the Donatist community, his participation in the Council of Carthage, his administrative status during the Council, penalties During his episcopal career, he was exposed to the religious situation in his city after his death.
