ملخص: إن الحديث عن البراغماتية، حديث بالضرورة عن الأداتية كمنهج استطاع من خلاله الفيلسوف الأمريكي جون ديوي، تعميق اطر وأفاق البحث الاجتماعي في محاولة لاستنطاق الواقع المعاش، لذلك سعت الفلسفة الذرائعية جاهدة على الدوام للاهتمام بالطموح الاجتماعي خالقة بذلك فرصا للاستحداث الأمل في الحياة من خلال تنظيم وتأطير للمشهد الثقافي بأبعاد إنسانية واجتماعية، لعبت فيه الديمقراطية ادوار رئيسية كأفضل وسيلة للتعبير عن الحقوق والواجبات وأكثر من ذلك عن الإنسان والحياة. الأمر الذي استدعى ضرورة الوقوف عند الأداتية كمنهج وما مدى توظيفها لقيم الديمقراطية، مع التركيز على كل من التربية والعلم كمكنز مات بحث أساسية وركائز منهجية ضمن السياق العام لبرغماتية جون ديوي الأداتية والاجتماعية. الكلمات المفتاحية: الأداتية، الديمقراطية، البراغماتية، التربية، المنهج. Abstract: Talking about pragmatism is necessarily talking about instrumentalism as a method through which the American philosopher John Dewey was able to deepen the frameworks and horizons of social research in an attempt to interrogate the lived reality. Therefore, pragmatic philosophy has always striven to pay attention to social ambition, thus creating opportunities for creating hope in life through organizing and framing the scene. Cultural with human and social dimensions, in which democracy played major roles as the best way to express rights and duties and more than that about man and life. Which necessitated the need to stand at instrumentalism as a method and the extent to which it employs the values of democracy, with a focus on both education and science as basic research thesauruses and methodological pillars within the general context of John Dewey's instrumental and social pragmatism Keywords : : instrumentalism, democracy, pragmatism, education, method.
