The Limits Of Method In Analytical Philosophy

Abstract

The increased interest in the subject of language became clearer by the last decade of 19th and during the 20th century. That has been occurred in parallel way with the deep changes in many areas of knowledge, primarily in mathematics, logic, and in other fields such as epistemology, psychology, sociology .This was reflected in the way of modern philosophical thinking, which led to the emergence of what is known as contemporary analytic philosophy with its various branches. According to this philosophy, language is considered as the main theme of philosophical thinking. It means that the role of philosophy is to treat philosophical problems through the analysis of linguistic statements. The language returned to be the basic focus of philosophical thinkingin analytic schools such as logical atomism and logical positivism.
