This research paper highlights the manifestations of intertextuality in the literature of Sheikh Hammou Fekhar in general, and in his speeches in particular, based on the concept of intertextuality as a literary phenomenon in modern critical studies, with a comparison to quoting and modulation in ancient Arabic rhetoric. This research has monitored the observable and the hidden facts in intertextuality through the literary writings and preaches of the Sheikh, highlighting the interrelation between the present text and absent text which we will reveal in this paper. Ultimately, the writer’s personality appears to be deep-rooted in Islamic and literary culture in terms of his personal interest in the Qur'anic text and the Prophet’s Hadiths on one hand, the Arabic poetry, prose, maxims and proverbs.
