Résumé
Abstract : Through Les identités meurtrières (Amin Maalouf), we will try to demonstrate the ambiguous links that are woven between man, identity and ethnic, cultual and cultural affiliations. In this essay, the author shows his willingness to report on the impact of globalization on the question of identity, by describing the consequences that this phenomenon could generate, namely strangeness, discrimination, segregation. The validation criteria of his writings draw the questions related to the confrontation of two opposing identities : East and West. Résumé À travers Les identités meurtrières d'Amin Maalouf, nous tenterons de démontrer les liens ambigus qui se tissent entre l'Homme, l'identité et les appartenances ethniques, cultuelles et culturelles. Dans cet essai, l'auteur affiche sa volonté de rendre compte de l'impact de la mondialisation sur la question identitaire, en décrivant les conséquences que pourrait engendrer ce phénomène à savoir l'étrangeté, la discrimination, la ségrégation. Les critères de validation de ses écrits dessinent les questions liées à l'affrontement de deux identités adverses : l'Orient et l'Occident.
