Résumé
The main objective of this paper is to draw the attention of Spanish and French translators to the terminological features of medical texts that can constitute traps for their translation task and to note the strategies to be adopted in order to recreate in optimal conditions a source text in a target text. The methodology used is descriptive since it exposes the characteristics and the translation strategies to answer them. The results obtained highlight that these terminological peculiarities, clearly classified, usually hamper the work of the translator and that it is therefore essential to deal with the question by providing solutions in relation to the behavior that the translator should have to face them.
