Résumé
This article proposes a study of two novels: Saison de Pierres by the Algerian writer Abdelkader Djemaï and Terrasse à Rome by the French writer Pascal Quignard. This work studies modernity, as a particular writing process, and the transgression of established norms to identify a type of writing that departs from the usual rules of the novel. Through an analysis of the novelistic processes, present in the two texts, we show Quignard and Djemai stand out from the established novelistic norms and open a reflection on the problems of the text, understood in the sense of writing, on the notion of narrator, on the notion of reader, an essential triptych of literature. The writing in the two novels is considered as a space of stakes and issues.
