Description

Cette revue produite et réalisée à l’Ecole Nationale Polytechnique d’Oran est une version améliorée du Bulletin de l’ENSET dont la première parution date de 1994. Le COST est doté d’un comité scientifique international. Les auteurs intervenant dans cette revue sont de divers horizon (université, industrie, éducation nationale…). L’objectif de cette revue est de servir de support pour la diffusion des résultats des travaux de recherche effectués dans les laboratoires, universités et entreprises algériennes. Dans notre Journal nous privilégions les articles découlant de travaux expérimentaux ayant traits aux différents domaines technologique et industriel intéressants concrètement notre Pays. Nous restons convaincus que l’engineering est notre future et nous souhaitons ainsi qu’à travers ce type de revue un lien fort pourra se développer entre l’Université et notre Industrie. Le COST s’adresse aux enseignants chercheurs, ingénieurs, et post graduant mais aussi au monde industriel. Notre Ecole assure une très large diffusion de cette revue au niveau national, maghrébin et méditerranéen en espérant que cela apportera une modeste contribution à la valorisation de la recherche scientifique en Algérie.

COAXIAL AND U-SHAPED GEOTHERMAL PROBES PERFORMANCE BY THE EWS SOFTWARE

Résumé: In this article, we present a geothermal installation designed to ensure the heating and cooling of a detached house located in Tlemcen city at Algeria country. The thermal behavior of the coaxial and double U borehole heat exchangers was investigated using numerical simulations by EWS (ErdWäemeSonden) software, in both long and short-terms. The analysis was conducted considering two different types of ground with different thermal conductivity values. As result, the more conductive ground type highlights the higher yield of the coaxial probe.

NUMERICAL MODELING OF CRACK PROPAGATION PARAMETERS BY THE SFEM METHOD FOR A TWO-DIMENSIONAL MODEL

Résumé: Fracture mechanics is a field broad that allows studying the behavior of a structure with different defects. The presence of defects can be in the form of internal crack or superficial crack. Fracture mechanics analysis correlates loading parameters. The purpose of this work is to numerically model the straight and inclined initial crack by the angle (α) concerning an elastic material, the SFEM method was used to make the modelling, a FORTRAN program makes it possible to create a structured parametric mesh, which keeps the same number of nodes and elements during the different stages of crack propagation. Different crack propagations have been studied. In addition, several values of the angle (α) were used to orient the crack. In addition, the model used has four-node CPE4 elements. The stress state characterization parameters at the crack front (KI and KII) were evaluated by the structure length (X). The analytical approach was used to compare the different results obtained by the SFEM method.

BUSINESS PLAN OF THE AGRICULTURAL INVESTMENT PROJECT FOR CEREAL AND SUGAR CROPS (1000 HECTARES) ADRAR REGION -ALGERIA

Résumé: The policy of agricultural and rural renewal in Algeria, played an important role in ensuring the country's food security and establishing a developed agricultural economy oriented towards exploitation. In this context, the agriculture and rural development sector, especially the adoption of the Agricultural Land Development Program through concession and implementation, witnessed the opening of new horizons for farmers and other promoters of investment in the agricultural and rural economy. As such, this document is established by the Agricultural Investment Study Office Dr NOUI Abderrahmane as a business plan to supplement the application file for obtaining an agricultural concession of 1000 hectares in the Wilaya of ADRAR for the production of cereals and sugar beets. This report was created to provide an overview of the technical and economic totals obtained from the project.

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THREE POLYMERS: ABS, PMMA, AND ABS/15%PMMA BILAYER IN THREE-POINT BENDING

Résumé: An experimental study aimed at exploring the mechanical characteristics of amorphous thermoplastic polymers, namely acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and ABS/15% PMMA bilayer sheet was carried out. These polymers are manufactured by the extrusion and co-extrusion process intended for engineering applications. Experiments were carried out in three-point bending at room temperature. The results indicate that ABS exhibits up to 12% higher ductility than ABS/15% PMMA bilayer, with PMMA tending to become more brittle with a high flexural strength of 125 MPa.
