ملخص : يمثل سؤال مفهوم الحداثة الغربية وكيفية تلقيها في مجتمعاتنا العربية والإسلامية، إحدى أهم المسائل الفلسفية التي خلقت جدلا كبيرا في أوساط نخبنا، بكون المفهوم تشكل في سياقات غربية مغايرة عن السياقات الإسلامية لأنها خاضعة لسلطة النص الديني، والمعروف أن الحداثة هي فعل تجاوزي لكل ماهو مقدس، هذا ماخلق في ثقافتنا نوع من التوجس من الوافد الجديد، ولاشك توجد عدة أشكال للتلقي فهناك الموقف الرافض، والموقف المتفاعل، والموقف التوفيقي، ومن بين المواقف التي آمنت بضرورة الانفتاح والتفكير في أفق كوني المفكر محمد عمارة الذي يقدم تصورا مغايرا عن باقي الأطروحات، لأنه يعتقد أن الشريعة الإسلامية تتقاطع والحداثة في المبادئ الإنسانية وتختلف عنها في المضامين الأيديولوجية، لهذا يقترح ضرورة تجديد الخطاب الديني عبر ضبط عملية الاجتهاد للخروج من حالة العدمية والفوضى والعنف. Summary: The question of the concept of Western modernity and how it is received in our Arab and Islamic societies is one of the most important philosophical issues that has created great controversy among our elites, the fact that the concept is formed in Western contexts different from Islamic contexts because they are subordinated to the authority of the religious text, It is known that modernity is an act of transgression for all what is sacred, that what created in our culture a kind of apprehension of the newcomer. There is no doubt that there are several forms of reception. There is the rejectionist attitude, the reactionary attitude, and the compromise position. Among the positions that believed in the need to open up and reflect on the horizon of the universe is the thinker Mohamed Amara, who presents a different view from the rest of hypotheses, because he believes that Islamic law intersects modernity in the principles of humanity and differ in ideological content, so it is proposed to renew religious discourse by controlling the process of the conscientiousness to get out of the situation of nihilism, chaos and violence
