‎« Bilinguisme Et Interculturalité Dans « La Femme Du Caïd » ‎de Fatéma Bakhaï »‎

Résumé

This article aims at showing that linguistic and cultural ‎diversity has been at the centre of teaching. ‎ The scholastic role is the perpetuation of both languages and ‎ cultures. Mastering a foreign language is the effective way of ‎adopting other cultures, which offers an open window to the ‎otherness, difference, as well as the external world.‎ The challenge of acquiring a foreign language makes one get ‎in the cultural and ideological context of this language.‎ Interculture exists within language which acts as the vehicle ‎assuring the coexistence of diversities by establishing ‎differences. Fatéma ‎ Bakhaï proves the truefulness of that in her novel entitled ‎Lafemme du caïd through the hero Talia. ‎
