الملخص
In a context characterized by uncertain knowledge of economic agents about the preferences of the central bank (a new governor replacing the previous one ), we can ask ourselves about the efficiency of making easy for private sectors to learn their preferences by exposing the factors and circumstances that affect the process of deciding the monetary policy (operational transparency). Unlike the theoretical aspect, in Barro-Gordon traditional context, that claims the existence of a balance between credibility and flexibility (the availability of an intermediate level of transparency as the optimum level), we will try to show that by eliminating the possibility of an inflationary bias, the optimal degree of transparency may be the total transparency if the intention of the economic agents to stay away of the inflation is not so important as it should be.
