الملخص

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز دور الحوكمة في تشجيع الاستثمار في أسواق رؤوس الأموال، من خلال تحقيق أفضل مستويات الجودة في المعلومات المحاسبية من حيث الملائمة والمصداقية والقابلية للمقارنة وزيادة الفهم والتفسير في ضوء احتياجات بيئة الاستثمار، بالإضافة إلى تحقيق أفضل مستويات الإكتمال في هذا المحتوى من المعلومات والإفصاح الحيادي عنها وتخفيض عدم تماثلها لكافة الأطراف. ويعتبر المستثمرون أكثر الأطراف المرتبطة بالشركة تعرضا للمخاطرة، حيث أنهم أهم الأطراف التي تجني مكاسب في حال نجاح الشركة وفي نفس الوقت أكثرهم تحملا للخسائر في حال فشل الشركة، لذلك يحتاج المستثمرون الحاليون والمرتقبون إلى المعلومات بصفة مستمرة لتمكينهم من تقييم فرص الاستثمار المتاحة والمفاضلة بين البدائل الاستثمارية واتخاذ القرارات المناسبة المتعلقة بتوظيف مواردهم.
