الملخص
By reading manymanuscripts of Sheikh Othman bin Fode and his contemporaries,itseemsthat the period in whichtheSheikhlived in western Sudanwas a period fullwith constant activity in the field of advocacy and reform at various levels.Our Sheikh Othman wasamong the most prominent of those reformers, whose activities includedhis homeland and outside with the help of his students ; on top of themhis brother Abdullah bin Fode. Hewasinterested inmankind, reason, thought and doctrine, beit male or female, as the focus of his reforms. He uses the granulation andexhortation methods ;takingadvantage of his practices and inadvertent contact with people, and not from behind the silos and houses of worship. He invitedothers to Islam in the field, and hehas achievedwhathewanted from people by introducingthemto religion to getrid of polytheism and misguidance.
