Reflections On The American Dream In The Views And Songs Of Bruce Springsteen

Abstract
عندما رَوَّجَ لألبومه الذي يحمل عنوان: " كرة هَدْم المباني" في باريس سنة 2012، صَرَّحَ برُوس سبرِينغْستين لصحافيين بان عمله الفني كان دائما حول تَفَحُصْ الفرق بين الحلم الأمريكي و الحياة الحقيقية الأمريكية. يهدف هذا المقال الى تحليل عنصر بنيوي أساسي في ثقافة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية و هو الحلم الأمريكي، و ذلك في بعض أغاني الفنان برُوس سبرِينغْستين، ثم محاولة قياس الفرق بين الحلم و الحقيقة في أمريكا القرن الحادي والعشرين. When promoting his album Wrecking Ball in Paris on 2012, Bruce Springsteen told journalists that his artistic work had always been about judging the distance between American reality and the American Dream. This article explores one founding myth of the United States, the American Dream in some songs of Bruce Springsteen and tries to measure the gap between the dream and real life in the U.S. today.
