Résumé

The cinema is often studied as artistic phenomenon, but we must not ignore the fact that it is one of the cultural landmarks of the industrial era. In his home had a brief history, if we compare it with other arts, was developed at the end of the 19th century thanks to the knowledge about photography. With the passing of time was considered as a spectacle of masses, and as the largest industry of the 20th century. The appearance of this phenomenon film offers the world a new art, a new cultural capable of recording images for the dissemination of ideas. Indeed, it is a new medium whose possibility is to create in the screen sensation of movement of real life. It should be borne in mind that the film was described as the seventh art due to its expressive capacity and discourse. In this sense, the film is not only a visual text, but a film acts as an event in itself that includes all situations and identifications that surround the human being. The relation ship between the latter in the film plane are going to give the film its form of cinematographic language that communicates with the viewer a sense of reality. The film had a great development, a huge cultural diversity, an influence and a relationship with other arts. Their relationship with the literature is one of the most treated throughout its history.
