Resumen : Por el paso del tiempo y con la aparición del cortometraje, se hace conocer la cultura popular de cada pueblo y constar que, el cortometraje como producto, refleja la realidad o la mentalidad de los pueblos; a partir de ahí, se plantean varias preguntas que podemos enumerarlas en lo siguiente: ¿Cómo se imparte una clase recurriendo a un cortometraje? ¿Cuáles son los criterios para seleccionar un cortometraje en el aula de ELE? y ¿cómo se puede desarrollar la competencia sociocultural a través del cortometraje? Entonces, nuestro objetivo primordial es mostrar que la integración del cortometraje como soporte didáctico en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de ELE es más que necesaria que sirve para el desarrollo de la competencia cultural del estudiante y valorar la importancia de la convivencia sociocultural. Abstract: With the time passing-by and the rising of the short-film, the popular culture of every kind of people is shown and it is observed that the short-film, as a product, reflects the reality or the mentality of people; Yet, from there, some questions are to be asked, we can list them as below: How a classroom is imparted recurring to a short-film?What are the criteria to select a short-film in the classroom of S/FL and how the sociocultural competence can be developed by the means of a short-film? So, our primordial goal is to show that the integration of the short-film as a didactic support in the process of teaching-learning of S/FL is more than necessary, that it serves to the development of the cultural competence of the student and values the importance of the socio-cultural coexistence
