This study aims to shed light on the reality of the use of social networking sites in North African countries, given that these sites or applications contribute to updating, improving and activating communication, especially after the emergence of electronic management and the use of digital and technological techniques. The study found that the number of users of social media applications in North African countries is constantly increasing, as the rate of users of social media applications during the past four years reached about 49% of the total population of these countries, and this is due to the fact that these countries have a large percentage of young people.
