فوكو وليفيناس على حلبة سعودية: الضيافة بين سعيد السريحي وعبدالله المطيري

الملخص
يتناول هذا البحث قضية الضيافة كما ترد في أطروحتين سعوديتين. تمثل الضيافة موضوعاً إنسانياً مهماً، يتقاطع مع عدة قضايا وجودية واجتماعية وأنثروبولجية، لأنه يمثل نقطة التقاء الذات بالآخر. من هنا يتناولها عدد من الفلاسفة والكُتاب من جوانب مختلفة. وتحمل الضيافة للعرب عموماً، والسعوديين بشكل خاص، معنى مختلفاً يرتبط بتاريخهم الذي كان الكرم ركيزةً في منظومته في الأخلاقية، ولذلك يعمد سعيد السريحي، الناقد السعودي المعروف، على تحليل مفهوم الضيافة في كتابه (حجاب العادة: أركيولوجيا الكرم من التجربة إلى الخطاب)، موظِّفاً منهج ميشيل فوكو في الأركيولوجبا، ومحاولاً الكشف عن الأنساق المضمرة خلف الخطاب التراثي الذي يتناول الكرم وما يتصل به من مظاهر وقيم. الأطروحة الأخرى هي كتاب الأكاديمي والفيلسوف السعودي عبدالله المطيري (فلسفة الآخرية: الآخر بين سارتر وليفيناس وبهجة الضيافة)، الذي يعطي فكرة شاملة عن فلسفة الضيافة والعلاقة مع الآخر. المطيري متأثر بفلسفة ليفيناس في الآخرية والأخلاق، لكنه يطور فكرته الخاصة عن الضيافة، حين يذهب إلى أن بإمكان الضيافة أن تشكّل نموذجاً وجودياً للعالم، حيث يمكن للبشر أن يتعايشوا مع بعضهم ومع غيرهم بسلام وطمأنينة. يحاول هذا البحث، معتمداً على مقولات الفينومنولوجيا، تحليلَ الكتابين، للكشف عن نقاط الالتقاء والافتراق بين الباحثيْن، والوقوف على تأثير فوكو وليفيناس عليهما. ABSTRACT: This paper deals with the issue of hospitality as discussed by two Saudi intellectuals. Hospitality is a crucial concept to the world, as it is a meeting point between the self and the other. Therefore, a wide range of philosophers and writers have addressed the issue from different angles; Enmanuel Kant is being one important example, who wrote a detailed peace of philosophy elaborating his theory of 'universal hospitality. To Arabs, and particularly Saudis, hospitality has a special meaning, because it is connected to generosity which is a pillar of their moral values. Thus, Sa’īd Alsurayḥi, a well-known Saudi critic, published a book titled (the Veil of Habit: Archeology of Generosity from Experience to Discourse), where he deals with generosity and other related topics such as hospitality. However, Abdullah Almuṭayri, an academic & philosopher, concentrates on hospitality in his (Philosophy of the Otherness: the Other between Levinas & Sartre & The Joy of Hospitality). Influenced by Levinas’s vision of ethics & others, Almuṭayri sheds light on philosophies of hospitality & the relationship with the other. He concludes that hospitality helps create a model to the rest of the world where co-existence could happen. Applying some aspects of phenomenology, my paper analyses both works, in order to reveal similarities and differences between them, and extract traces of Foucault & Livinas in Alsurayḥi and Almuṭayri books.
