Abstract

Modernism attempts to destruct the ancient heritage. Writers like Eugene Ionesco, Arthur Adamov and Samuel Beckett have tried to write plays that would shake the old conception of dramaturgy. They claimed a world where human existence has no sense, and people on earth were to suffer an infinite repetition of actions leading to nowhere. In this study, we will try to uncover the idea of life nonsense and absurdity beneath the surface of the play
