الملخص
حتى يكتمل البناء الحضاري للدول لابد له من دعائم أخرى تملأ الفراغ وتسد ما ينقص من اكتمالها في مجالات عديدة، لذلك نجد الحواضر الكبرى التي شغلت مرادف العواصم اهتماما واسعا كبحث وطرح تاريخي، في حين كانت حواضر صغرى لم ترتق إلى دور عاصمة الدولة إلا أنها عرفت حركية تاريخية متباينة لم يسلط عليها الضوء من طرف الباحثين. ومن أبرز هذه الحواضر بالمغرب الأوسط مدينة تنس التي احتلت فضاءً هاما على مسرح الحوادث السياسية والتطورات في تاريخ الجزائر خلال العصر الوسيط، ولعدة اعتبارات تاريخية، جغرافية واقتصادية كانت ضمن قائمة المدن الهامة التي دخلت في صناعة الخارطة السياسية لمعظم دول المغرب الإسلامي، لأن قادتها أدركوا قيمتها الحيوية.
