الملخص
يشكل الاغتيال أحد أهم القضايا الإنسانية التي انتشرت عبر التاريخ، ولم تستثنى أي فترة زمنية منه، والذي بقي يمارس حتى في عصرنا الحالي رغم ما عرفته الحضارات من تقدم فكري. إن ظاهرة الاغتيال مست جميع طبقات المجتمع بدءا من سلاطين العصر الوسيط وصولا إلى العامة من الناس ، حيث عرف الاغتيال انتشارا كبيرا في مجتمع دولة العصر الوسيط و كان من أهم أسبابه الدافع السياسي الذي راح ضحيته كثير من الشخصيات المشهورة من مفكرين وعلماء وفلاسفة . ويعتبر لسان الدين ابن الخطيب واحد من أشهر علماء عصره الذين سقطوا ضحية للمكائد السياسية والمؤامرة التي أدت إلى اغتياله في نهاية الأمر. the assassination is one of the most important humanitarian issues that have spread throughout history and did not exclude any period of time. Which remained practiced until our current generation, despite what civilizations knew of intellectual progress. The phenomenon of assassination touched all classes of society from the medieval sultans to the general public. Where assassination was widespread in the state of the middle ages, and one of the important reasons was the political motive that led to murder of many famous persons some of them are thinkers, scientists and philosophers. "Lissan eddin Ibn al-Khatib" is one of the most famous scholars of his time who fell victim to political intrigue and conspiracies that led to his assassination by the end,
