الملخص

كان لفيروس كوفيد 19 المستجد تأثيرًا كبيرًا على جميع جوانب المجتمع تقريبًا. وعلى الرغم من أن البشرية قد عانت من الأوبئة سابقًا ، الا أن كوفيد -19 سبب في آثارٍ غير مسبوقة على اقتصادات العالم. لذا سارعت الشركات إلى تغيير أنظمة عملها للتكيف مع آثار الوباء، فغيرت نظام العمل للكثير من العمال إلى العمل عبر الإنترنت، ونتيجة لذلك سرحت الشركات العديد من العمال الذين لا مكان لهم في نظام العمل الجديد. حيث فرض هذا النظام الكثير من المستجدات على بيئة العمل، فمن جهة، وَسعَ من دائرة المنافسة بين العُمَّال، ومن جهة ثانية، أفرز بسرعة لافته، بعض التحديات على الشركات التجارية، كتحدي المحافظة على أسرار الشركة وعلى أسرار العَمَل فيها، لتراجع أو ضعف أو فقد قدرة إدارة الشركة على مراقبة عُمالها، سواء من خلال الاشراف المباشر اثناء وجودهم في مقر الشركة، أو من خلال الاستعانة بوسائل تقنية مناسبة، كالمراقبة من خلال كاميرات مرتبطة بجهاز الحاسوب المستخدم. The Future of Commercial Corporations’ Employment Contracts after COVID-19 (Finding a Balance between Informational Security and employment Security) Abstract COVID-19 has made a significant impact on almost all aspects of society. Although humanity has experienced pandemics previously, COVID-19 has caused unprecedented effects on world economies. Corporations have scrambled to change their working systems to adapt to the effects of the pandemic. Many have transitioned to operating online and have laid off several workers. Prevalent actions such as these lead to a reevaluation of workers and consumer rights. Workers are typically under contract and online working systems have the potential to lower the quality of a product. Another important consideration is the protection of sensitive and private information of corporations. As workers conduct their tasks from home, outside the security of company buildings, corporate secrets could be vulnerable to unauthorized release. There are also important considerations for monitoring workers as they work from home to ensure their contractual commitments are fulfilled.
