المواقف السياسية لسلطان العلماء العز بن عبد السلام

ملخص : يعتبر العز بن عبد السلام من العلماء المجتهدين الذي كرسوا حياتهم للعلم وتبصير الناس ومحاربة البدع وتقديم النصح للحكام . في هذا المقال تكلمنا عن حياته وعصره حيث عاش في عصر الضعف الذي شهدته الدولة العباسية والتي عانت من ويلات الحروب الصليبية وهجوم المغول فلم يقم مكتوف الأيدي بل قام بتوجيه الحكام للتصدي للغارات الأجنبية والدعوة لمحاربة العدو وأنكر على السلاطين الذين جاءوا بعد صلاح الدين الأيوبي وخذلوا الإسلام و المسلمين باستنجادهم بالصليبين وتسليمهم المدن الإسلامية كالقدس ، فلم يسكت العز عن هذا ووقف في وجه السلاطين وأنكر عليهم وأوقف الدعاء لهم في الخطبة فعُزل واعتُقل وفي عصر المماليك أمر السلاطين بتحضير الجيوش وجمع الأموال لمواجهة الخطر المغولي واستمر في نشاطه الدعوي حتى قاد البلاد إلى الانتصار بهزيمة المغول وطردهم . Summary: El-Ezz Bin Abdul Salam is highly considered among the painstaking scientists whom devoted their lives to science, enlightening people, rejecting heresy and providing governors with pieces of advice. This article talks about his life where he lived in the era of weakness that the Abbasid Caliphate witnessed in which they suffered both the Crusades and the Mongols invasion. Thus, undoubtedly and without hesitation, El-Ezz Bin Abdul Salam directed the Abbasids governors towards thwarting those foreign invasions and demanding forcefully the public fighting back their enemies. On the other side, El-Ezz Bin Abdul Salam disapproved the sultans who ruled after Salah Elddine El Ayoubi. In fact, those sultans neither strengthened Islam and Muslims nor supported them. On the contrary, they expressed their loyalty to crusaders through surrender and delivering Islamic cities such as Jerusalem. Indeed, El-Ezz Bin Abdul Salam was standing out against them. He opposed their positions and stopped praying for them. As a result, He had been isolated then arrested. In the Memeluk's era, El-Ezz Bin Abdul Salam asked the sultans to prepare armies and collect money and supplies to face the threat of the Mongols. El-Ezz Bin Abdul Salam continued his vigorous enlightenment till he led the country to the victory by defeating the Mongols and pushing them away.
