Preconceiving The “i” World In The Other’s: The Self, The Other And The Problem Of Translation In The Literary Text

Abstract

The present paper is dealing with the complications and complexities of translating a literary text. The difficulties of this latter stand at its literariness and wonder of words when translating. Reading is actually the key of identifying the complications and complexities in the literary text, these found complexities and complications lead the translators to seek for the best way to penetrate the text, and then transform it into another language, so that the translator becomes the ‘I’ of the literary text. Thus, the world of the Other will be the world of Self.
