The Impact Of Monetary And Financial Policy On Economic Activity In Iraq

Abstract
Abstract: The research included the concept of monetary policy and the factors affecting it, the concept of fiscal policy and the factors affecting it, in addition to that, the concept of inflation, and the relationship between monetary and financial policy on the one hand, and inflation on the other hand. Data were used through the Central Bank of Iraq and the Ministry of Finance, for the period 2003-2022. The relationship was between the independent variables represented by the money supply and the exchange rate, as a monetary policy, and public revenues as a financial policy, and the dependent variable, represented by inflation, as it is an important criterion, expressing economic activity. The result was that there was a relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable in the short and long term, using the joint integration program, by applying the ARDI model.
