الملخص

تواجه أغلب المجتمعات مشاكل مواجهة حوادث المرور التي نتجت عنها تكاليف بشرية ومادية باهظة، حيث توقعت الدراسات أن تصبح حوادث الطرق ثالث أكبر سبب للوفاة والإصابة على مستوى العالم بحلول عام 2020، ويعتبر سلوك السياقة الخطرة من بين أهم الأسباب المساهمة في ارتفاع عدد حوادث المرور على مستوى الطرقات، حيث سيتم عرض بعض العناصر الهامة في فهم ماهية سلوك السياق الخطرة، على غرار ماهيته ومظاهره وملخص لأهم الإحصائيات حول حوادث المرور عالميا ومحليا وغيرها من المفاهيم. Most societies face the problems of dealing with traffic accidents, which have resulted in high human and material costs. Studies have predicted that road accidents will become the third largest cause of death and injury worldwide by 2020. Risky driving behavior is among the most important reasons contributing to the high number of traffic accidents at the global level. In this paper, we present some important elements to understand the nature of riky behavior, its manifestations, and a summary of the most important statistics about traffic accidents globally and locally.
