Abstract

The objective of this work is to highlight the effect of the exposure time of polycarbonate (PC) at low temperature, under air. As a result, its maintenance at 40°C causes damage revealed by microstructural observations. Physical-chemical analyzes made it possible to note changes in the molecular chains as well as changes in mechanical properties confirmed by mechanical tests.
