SCIENCES DE L’HOMME

Description

The journal SCIENCES DE L'HOMME is an international scientific journal, in French, devoted mainly to research in cognitive neuroscience,
speech therapy and phoniatry. It is published by the URNOP Research Unit of the University of Algiers 2, under the supervision of an
international scientific committee, composed of neuroscientists and speech therapists recognized throughout the world.
The journal SCIENCES DE L'HOMME is a non-paying journal and transformed into open access. It is annual, including special issues
(relative to the number of articles proposed). Since independence, it has been the only orthophony journal in Algeria. Created in 1993,
under the name "ORTHOPHONIA", by a core of founders of the Algerian Society of Speech Therapy (SAOR) approved in 1992,
the Journal of Electronic Human Sciences (RSH) has been online since 2011, on the URNOP website. The objective of the RSHE
is to disseminate the results of theoretical and practical experiments, supporting the LMD of Speech Therapy. Recent sector, multidisciplinary,
of Cognitive Neurosciences, the publications have for goal the installation of a library of Speech therapy in Algeria. The originality of
the RSH is to develop the scientific extensions of Speech Therapy, a discipline which has acquired the status of Autonomous Department (2015),
Laboratory (2000), then Research Unit (2013), brings together, in a recent conceptual model, the whole of the Human Sciences,
in its normal and pathological functioning and communication processes. Prescriptive, descriptive, classifying, explanatory and therapeutic,
this theoretical model conforms to the original knowledge project of the Human Sciences. It is therefore aimed at a wide public of tenants
of science, which makes it possible to understand Man as a whole, in order to take in charge his validity, in the event of troubles or difficulties.
In free open access, the electronic RSH is co-published by URNOP, SAOR (created in 1992) and the second learned society, the Algerian
Society of Neurosciences (SAN), created in 2011. It is a trilingual journal - French, English, Arabic -, which brings together national
and international articles, allowing practitioners and researchers to communicate, exchange and submit to criticism, their reflections
and their redearch on human communication, in its multiple neurobiological parameters, vocal, psychological, linguistic and phonological.
It therefore allows, second feature of originality, the emergence of Speech Therapy Specialties, such as neuropsychology, neuro-pedagogy,
clinical phonetics, phoniatry,
audiophonology, without exclusive approaches to school disorders, mental handicap and speech therapy. It also aims to encourage young researchers
to share their knowledge by posters and PPTs which can be the subject of special, themed issues.
